A judge has dismissed a lawsuit over Buffalo Wild Wings' boneless wings, ruling that the case has 'no meat on its bones'. The plaintiff, Aimen Halim, claimed that the restaurant chain's use of the term 'boneless wings' is misleading as it contains chicken breast meat. However, the judge argued that the term is a 'fanciful name' and that a reasonable consumer would not expect the wings to be truly deboned. The judge also compared the item to cauliflower wings, another product sold at Buffalo Wild Wings, and stated that the term 'boneless wings' has been in use for over two decades and is familiar to customers. The restaurant chain and the plaintiff's lawyers have not yet responded to a request for comment. The judge gave the plaintiff until March 20 to file an amended complaint.
